| This website was originally created so that we could keep our families and friends updated on Parker's journey with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) which was diagnosed when I was 29 weeks gestation. Parker was born premature at 33 weeks on May 7, 2006 at 9:03 a.m. She weighed in at 3 pounds 12 ounces and 18 inches long. She earned her Angel wings on May 8, 2006 at 5:00 a.m. in her Daddy's arms. We will keep this site running in honor of Parker and all children who have been affected by Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Our journey has just begun as the reality of losing our precious Parker sinks in. We have vowed to help educate others and to help fund research for this terrible birth defect that affects so many families. Please check the Current News section for updated information.
